Paul’s father, Charles Herdemian began his career … 

Creating gemstone jewelry. Although Charlie learned from his father, he  worked for another jeweler while in high school; and started in business for himself in 1945: Charles HERDEMIAN, Inc.

 

Early in Paul’s career he was a Bench Jeweler and diamond setter alongside his father.  As well as a traveling salesperson for Charles Herdemian Inc. selling to stores from New England to Virginia and Midwest. 

 

Paul Herdemian took classes at FIT( fashion institute of technology) in gemology 1 & 2 before completing GIA diamond & gemstone courses earning him his graduate gemologist certificate September 30,1983. 

 

October 1985 Paul ventured out on his own and opened up The Jewelers Workbench Inc. and the rest is history. His successful business continues to run today. The “JWB” shares in celebrating momentous occasions as well as providing an array of services and creating unique pieces to last a lifetime.
